All praise to Allah, the lord of all exists, and many prayers of blessings and peace be upon the noblest of the prophets and messenger of Allah.
Quran is the most prestigious and respectable source of knowledge and information. It is the most important and unique book which not only teach us to fulfill the responsibilities towards Allah SWT but also stress and guide how to live on the straight path, such as patience, generosity, manners , social ethics and caring for others. And as much we read the Quran and memorize its verses, we should make conscientious efforts to apply its teachings in our lives.
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Whoever Allah intends good for, He gives him the understanding of the religion.”(Al-Bukhari)
Memorization of Quran with its proper word to word meaning and understanding of language is a unique experience. It is not easy to change the mindset of the society regarding Hifz (the Arabic text of the Quran only). This is a process of continuous efforts and requires patience, tolerance, training and proper planning. Therefore a proper planned syllabus is designed; after trial and error; to teach Quran in a school environment with selective subjects of elementary education and social ethics.
“Verily, Allah the exalted has people from among mankind, and the people of the Quran are the people of Allah and his chosen ones.”(Ahmed and An Nisai).
To develop the feelings among students of being chosen one by the Allah (SWT); sincere efforts are required by teachers. Therefore continuous teacher training is a part of this course plan.
The Holy Prophet states, “Whoever teaches his children the Quran, it is as if he made ten thousand Hajj (pilgrimage) and ten thousand Umrah.”
We cannot teach the Quran in best manner without the blessings of Allah and support of parents. We believe it is a two way process and requires continuous efforts to make Quran a part of your life. We are making efforts to inculcate the true spirit of words of Allah, Quran, in youth to make them more educate, confident and proud to practice the Quran in their lives.
